Shirazi, J.K.M. Life Of Omar Al-Khayyami. Edinburgh & London: T.N. Foulis, 1905. Limited to 250 copies on handmade paper, of which this is #102. Hand-llluminated title, initials, and decorations in gold and color by W. G. Easton. Bound in white vellum by the Guild of Handicraft (though unsigned), utilizing the blind "Soul is Form" rose stamp on both covers that was employed on the Essex House Press Great Poems series. (The standard binding for this deluxe edition was illuminated boards with Japan vellum spine.) Title in gilt on spine. Top edge gilt, untrimmed sides. Bookplate of Charles Van Cise Wheeler, noted art collector. Measures approx. 5.5" x 8.25". Some light wear and soiling to boards. Internal library/processing stamp in violet on front endpaper.
