[Embroidered Cover] Gems of Poesy

Forshaw, Charles (ed.). Gems of Poesy. London: George Kenning, 1901. Publisher's binding of cream cloth boards present under a custom embroidered cover that has been created for this volume. Two large sprays of flowers have been embroidered in gradients of yellow and gold on a background of grey fabric, with long green stems, growing from three large leaves in gradients of light green at the bottom of the cover. The title has been embroidered in a white and black script to the right of the flowers. Measures approx. 5.5" x 8". Fading to spine, and light wear to fabric at corners.
