Gray & Son of Cambridge, with intertwined blind-stamped branches and gilt leaves at corners, along with blind stamped lines extending from the spine bands, terminating in three small gilt leaves. Five bands to spine, with title and author to second and third compartments, and gilt roundel to remaining compartments. Gilt ruled turn-ins with gilt roundels, patterned endpapers, all edges gilt. Measures approx. 4.25" x 6.25". Toning to spine, some spotting and small marks to covers, light rubbing to edges, corners bumped. Silk page marker detached, loosely inserted. Gift inscriptions to front blank.
