(A small book has been left on the terrace ledge.) This design has been delicately hand-colored, lending a three-dimensional effect to the cover. Spine features a tree and leaves, with the title of the volume breaking up the branches and the trunk, also hand-colored. Two gilt rules on the rear cover. Light blue marbled endpapers. Gilt-ruled turn-ins. All edges gilt. Measures approx. 5" x 7.25". Some light spotting to rear cover, and minor gilt loss inside the bush on the front cover. Gift inscription on the front flyleaf.
