Bound in full medium brown morocco by the Harcourt Bindery with a beautiful Grolieresque design, with strapwork in both inlaid dark brown and burgundy to both covers. There is a central monogram of "TWA" to both covers, similarly inlaid. Five bands to spine, with title and illustrator to second and fourth compartments, along with small inlaid strapwork design to remaining compartments. Wide leather turn-ins with rectangular inlaid border in burgundy to sides enclosing gilt fleuron designs. Square purple inlaid borders at corners enclosing a small gilt design. Gilt-ruled moire silk doublures and endpapers, all edges gilt. Measures approx. 11" x 13". Light rubbing and some spots of wear, primarily to edges. Slight fading to spine and to covers near spine, small chip to lower spine tip. Some light fingerprint smudges to pages.
