Illustrated by Jean C. Archer; frontispiece, four full-page engravings, ornate decorated borders throughout, and decorated endpapers. Front endpapers, all illustrations, and decorative borders have been beautifully hand-colored in an Art Deco style, with shades of teal, blue, orange, and purple, and silver illuminated accents. Original cream cloth with brown lettering and decoration to front cover. Measures approx. 5.5" x 7". Some spots and browning to covers, light fading to decoration and lettering. Light foxing to pages. Ink inscription to ffep.
