Collection of 16 samples of fine printing contained in a folding case, with notable items being: The Book of Ruth [excerpt], The Fifty-First Chapter of Genesis, The Oath of a Free Man, The Tragedy of Hamlet [excerpt], The Twenty-Third Psalm, Gettysburg Address, Bill of Rights, The Lord's Prayer (among others). A variety of techniques are used, including examples of both hand coloring and printing on parchment. Each item is noted: "Designed and printed by Kurt H. Volk especially for those who like nice things".
Measures approx. 5.5" x 7". Bookplate of Elisabeth Post Morrow loosely inserted. Folding case with some rubbing to edges and browning to edges. Slight crease very near to edge on the Contents and Book of Ruth items.
