The copy of designer and typographer Lester Douglas, featuring his bookplate on the front pastedown with a small penciled note "Designed by B.R. London July 1930". On the second endpaper, the AIGA "Fifty Books" bookplate for 1928, also designed by Bruce Rogers is tipped-in. On the half title page, a proof of Helena M. Hand Paterson's bookplate is tipped-in, presented to Douglas from Rogers on July 7 1930. Measures 6" x 9".
Original paper wrapper is split at the front hinge, and mostly split at the rear. Front board with 2-3" closed cracks to the top & bottom of the hinge; spine tips bumped.
