Bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe (signed on rear turn-in) in full crushed brown morocco with a large geometrical frame of an interlocked rectangle and diamond to the front cover, the whole elaborately embellished with fleurons of various sizes, accented with roundels. Watered green silk doublures. Original blue paper wraps bound in. Owner inscription. Measures approx. 6.5" x 9.5". Front joint has been masterfully restored, nearly to the point of invisibility. Some minor gilt loss to tooling at the miters on the turn-ins. Light browning to upper margin of text block.
