Gerring, Charles. Notes on Book Binding. Nottingham: Frank Murray, 1899. Hand written limitation on endpaper: "100 copies of this edition printed, of which, this is No. 89. Charles Gerring". Printed in black and red on handmade paper. 37 leaves of black & white plates on glossy paper, the bulk of which are contemporary binding examples by Birdsall and Cedric Chivers. Light brown cloth boards with gilt lettering to cover and spine and brown border decorations at top and bottom. Measures approx. 4.75" x 6". Some light rubbing to corners, offsetting to endpapers.
