[Fine Binding] A Bundle of Ballads

Morley, Henry (editor). A Bundle of Ballads. London: George Routledge & Sons, 1891. 196pp. Second volume in the Companion Poets series. Limited to 500 copies, of which this is #376. Bound in green crushed morocco to a subtle Arts & Crafts design, with a small floral spray in gilt at each corner of the covers. Five bands to spine with title in second compartment and gilt ruling and small roundels to the corners of the remaining compartments. Gilt-rolled turn-ins with white endpapers. Top edge gilt. Small stamp of "WPE" to rear flyleaf--perhaps a previous owner, bookseller, or the bookbinder, but hard to say which. Measures approx. 5.25" x 7.5". Some rubbing to edges and spine bands.
