Bound in medium brown crushed morocco by Birdsall of Northampton with a Roger Payne-inspired design, featuring a large frame to the covers of small gilt flowers, branches, and tiny roundels, enclosed within a curved gilt border. Five bands to spine with title and author to second and third compartments, with remaining compartments densely gilt with small floral tools and fine stippling. Wide turn-ins with gilt ruling and small floral tools at the corners. Light blue endpapers. Top edge gilt. Measures approx. 5.25" x 7.5". Some light rubbing to edges and corners. Offsetting to endpapers.
