Second edition.  Frontispiece with tissue guard. Bound in deep brown calf for J & E. Bumpus (likely by Sangorski & Sutcliffe) with small gilt leaves and ruling in blind extending from the two bands at spine. Small gilt dots at corners. Ruling in blind to spine with title in gilt. Turn-ins also ruled in blind, and lightly marbled endpapers. Top edge gilt. Measures approx. 4.75" x 6". Some rubbing to edges and corners, spine slightly faded. Foxing to first few pages of text block and fore edge/bottom edge. Gift inscription to endpaper.
