Bound in full red crushed morocco Kelliegram binding (by Kelly & Sons) with a diapered floral pattern on the front cover with gilt leaves & vines and four shades of blue inlaid flowers (dark navy, navy, medium blue, robin's egg), with title in gilt to upper corners. Five bands to spine with title and author to second and third compartments, and corresponding gilt and inlaid flower design to remaining compartments. Turn-ins with gilt vines & leaves, along with robin's egg blue flowers at corners and a navy flower at the center of each side. Light blue silk moiré endpapers. All edges gilt. Measures approx. 7" x 9.25". A stunning example.
