Bound by MacDonald in dark navy crushed morocco with Guild of Women Binders-inspired design to covers of seven red inlaid flowers with gilt stems terminating in stylized gilt leaves. Gilt borders to outer covers. Five bands to spine with title and contents to second and fourth compartments, inlaid red flower to remaining compartments. Gilt ruled turn-ins with light blue watered silk endpapers. Top edges gilt. Measures 6.25" x 9". Both volumes housed in their original leather-tipped, suede-lined, silk-covered slipcases. A few minor spots of light rubbing, small stain to endpaper of vol. 1. Some light wear and fading to edges of slipcase.
