Bound in dark red crushed morocco by Riviere & Son with a lovely Arts & Crafts border design with a square design of gilt leaves and inlaid gold flowers at each corner, connected by curving vines. Inner gilt rectangle and outer gilt rules. Five bands to spine with title and author in second and third compartments, and a small gilt rose to the remaining compartments. Gilt rolled turn-ins with small leaves at corners. White endpapers, top edge gilt. Measures 4" x 5.25". Gift inscription. Some light wear and rubbing to edges, corners bumped.
