Double-page illustrated title page by the author, with 5 other illustrations by him. Bound in an unusual full calf binding, with a black & white Will H. Low illustration of a reclining woman and cherub transferred to the leather on the front cover, which has been lightly illuminated in white, blue, and green. Art nouveau style ornaments (which have been painted slightly darker than the leather) in gilt to either side. Four gilt-ruled bands to spine, and back cover has been stamped to resemble alligator skin. Light green mottled endpapers and leather hinges. Top edge gilt. Measures approx. 5.5" x 8". Rubbing and light wear to edges, some spots and darkening to covers and spine. Approx. 3" closed crack at top of front hinge.
