Hubbard, Elbert. Little Journeys to the Homes of Eminent Artists [two volumes]. East Aurora, NY: The Roycrofters, 1902. Limited edition of 940 copies, of which this is #538. Title page and the initials were hand illuminated by Nellie Bowen. Printed on Roycroft handmade paper. The two volumes are complete in themselves, and part of the larger Little Journeys series (hence the title page noting them as volumes X and XI). 

Bound in full niger morocco by the Roycroft Shop with modeled floral Art Nouveau decorations and lettering to the front and back boards. Five bands to spine with title to second compartment. Maroon mottled endpapers. Measures 6" x 8". Some light rubbing to edges, with various spots and darkening to covers. Upper spine tips worn on both volumes, small tear (0.25") to vol. 1.
